Why aren't milk containers (jugs and cartons) applicable for a deposit?

  1. because of the material they are made of....

       you can deposit it but you will not get a refund!

    they do melt it down and recycle it though

    with a certain kind of plastic


  2. there not carbonated, like soda...which is stupid!!

  3. They aren't reusable like the glass milk bottles of the past.
