Why aren't people afraid to have one nighters?

So I started doing some research on this site SexHealthGuru.com and found out some scary information about STD's. Turns out that 1 in 2 people who are sexually active will get STD's. That is outrageous! I also found out that condoms are not as safe as I thought. You can also get Skin STD's from having contact with your area on the other persons area.

This sucks. I am pretty paranoid now.

Do you think people don't know this information or just don't care?

The problem is BRAINS. Their brains are in their genitals. When that happens, ALL REASON GOES OUT THE WINDOW.

They don't care.  You could also ask why people smoke when they know it causes cancer, why they eat poorly and don't exercise when they know the risks to their hearts, and why many continue to drive after drinking.  In a desktop discussion such as this, we know the problems & issues and commit to doing the healthy choice, but given the opportunity we generally do what feels good.
