Why aren't people executed by the same method we use to put animals to sleep?

How is it that animals can just be put to sleep and never wake up, painlessly, when we still fry people in the electric chair? And now there are even doubts about lethal injection.

So why don't we just use the same method as we do for animals on people?

  1. because animals are killed innocently due to over population. criminals are killed because they deserve it. they are not innocent, they are murderers and rapists and deserve to be fried.

  6. B/c animals are innocent and when ppl are sent to death row they have done something horrible that an animal couldn't  or wouldn't ever do to us.  

  7. Most, if not all, states use lethal injection now.  

  8. Lethal injection is the way animals are put down.

  10. hmmm  I guess cuz when people are fried it is done as a punishment,not cuz ov overpopulation or they havent been adopted. in other words ITS DONE AS A PUNISHMENT
