Since I have begun losing weight I have been more conscience of what I consume. For example, before I go out and buy lunch or go out to eat with my boyfriend I get online and look at a particular restaurant's menu and then check out their nutritional information. I have stumbled on a few restaurants that do not offer their nutrition information. Furthermore, I can't find information on a few places anywhere on the internet.

  1. they are required to have that information available upon request.  If you are eating out ask them for their nutritional info and they should give it to you

  2. Fast food places and many restaurants list the calories of their foods, I don't know why you can't find it. They're generally on websites, but sometimes calories are listed on the walls at the establishments.

  3. Well places like fast food restaurants are required to have their nutrition information out in the open for people to see or on hand if someone requests to see it.  That's happened ever since 'Super Size Me' was released.  But I really don't know about regular restaurants.  I would suspect that they would have to do the same.  But it may be difficult because a lot of places make their food from scratch so they can't really put a nutrition factor on it.

However if you do go there it never hurts to ask.
