Why aren't space aliens letting themselves known?

Because they haven't visited us yet.

I wish more people would believe that....because it's true.

But...I suppose there is some internal need to believe.

Hey...Don't misunderstand...I believe that there is life somewhere else in the cosmos too..but...they just haven't come here yet.

If i did believe in Aliens or Not regarding this question. I would wonder if they have not already been trying to communicate with us. Perhaps were are so less advance that we can not  understand the communications and disregard them as pranks. superstitions, or mere daydreams. I would imagine a race capable of that type of travel would be as advanced of our species as we are the ape.

People realize space is very big, but they don't realize it's VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY big! Therefore, space travel is very very very very very very hard. There may very well be intelligent life out there in the universe but it would take a civilization millions of years more advanced then ours to achieve space travel to our system.

Consider a Compact Disc or DVD as our Solar System. Our Galaxy would be the size of the entire earth in relation to the disc.It would take technology beyond our understanding to achieve intergalactic space travel. Although we must be open to such possible alien civilizations, it's simple statistics and mathematics. The scientific evidence of the universe and space travel tells us it is EXTREMELY unlikely aliens have visited our planet. Until we see credible evidence of intelligent life, the answer to your question -- Why aren't space aliens letting themselves known -- is simple, they aren't there.

well i doubt that their ever gonna come to earth.but there is a little thing called "Radio Astronomy"and it uses radio telescopes to pick of signals from space,whether it be Jupiter,the sun,pulsars,and of course AGN aka active galactic nucleus,but any ways I'm getting distracted.so these radio telescopes can be used to pick up signals from ET theres one observatory called the Allen array,in California,who's hole purpose is to listen for ET.this institute is called SETI.so if aliens are spilling out radio waves into space we are bound to to find life elsewhere in the universe.maybe close bye and maybe they have all ready sent us signals to let us know their there.and its all about timing with SETI.they have to be in the right place at the right time on the right channels,theres allot more factors,and in my believe its all about time and its a matter of time if we keep watching the sky for life we are bound to find it....maybe not now,maybe not in a decade...but when we keep watching the sky and we will find ET.

If there is intelligent life our there, and they're advanced enough to reach us; then most likely they're smart enough to stay away from us due to our current global situation.

We're constantly in conflict, and find more brutal ways of killing ourselves.

Since, as a whole, we're so dangerous, and you're the alien looking at us from off-world; what would you do?

New beings from off-world would only make another target for our aggression. -_-
