Why aren't the American oil companies using the leases they already hold on millions of acres to find oil?

  1. good question, us keep their land unused, so later, when the world has no more oil, US can use that to be a important natural resources on earth, yes how evil is us? well, each nation has also trying to prevent using its natural resources if not needed...


  2. There is no oil there. Or not enough to be commercially profitable to extract. They want to drill where the oil is. Imagine that.

    Would you shop for a pet at a hardware store? Why not?

  3. According to the oil companies there isn't any oil on the leased lands they have. That's what they told Congress . Libs keep screaming this same question and that would really give an answer to lib logic. Allow oil companies to drill where there is no oil. Wouldn't that have some affect on the environment as well whether they pumped oil from the ground or not. Seems to me they were screaming about the presence and actual drilling causing environmental problems not the actual act of pumping. Now they will probably have to rethink their logic if you can call it that.
