Why aren't the stories about the (Catholic) saints appearing to people considered to be "ghost"stories?

I never thought about this...until psi mentioned ghosts could be about good things too.

  1. As a devout Catholic heres the simple answer. Ghost are dead. Saints aren't. Catholics say that Ghost  sent from the devil. Even if its a "ghost of their beloved uncle harry" Because we believe once you're dead you can't come back to the world of the living. Unless of course you're a saint. Guest7047 saying you think someone was crazy because they saw a ghost wouldn;t have got you burned at the stake
