Why aren't there Flea Markets or Swap Meets in Western WA?

Question

Growing up in CA, mostly southern, it was a normal activity to head to the swap meet or flea market with friends on weekends. I've lived here for close to five years and have yet to find one. Maybe someone out there can tell me where there is a good one of these. Thanks!
