Why aren't there any Jimi Hendrix songs on Guitar Hero 3?

I know there's a character that's supposed to be him but he deserves more than that. No offense to anyone but my opinion is he's more of a rock legend than half the people on the game. Does anyone agree with me?

because the makers of guitar hero don't know real rock when they hear it. there are so many good songs they could have put in that game but didn't. if i was the person who chose the songs, guitar hero sales would be double what they are now.

The company that makes GH (I think Red Octane) had to negotiate with the Hendrix estate for the rights to his music. His stuff WILL be on the newest version of GH due out this fall/early winter. i toally agree!

i mean he is the rock GOD! i love jimi and im only 13 , and hes one of my favorite musicians, and i am a girl , but i purposely use the jimi look-a-like charachter on that game, lol.  and you know i cant belive hes not on there, im telling you , they should make a jimi hendrix guitar hero (like the aerosmith one)
