Why aren't there as many different colored contacts for people with astigmatism?

People without astigmatism have a wide variety of colored contacts to choose from while people with astigmatism have only a few. If anyone knows of a brand that offers colored contacts for astigmatism and sells a wide variety could you please let me know? and also can someone explain why there is less variety for people with astigmatism?

Freshlook Colorblends Toric lenses offer 5 colors I believe...

I would guess the market demand doesn't make it worthwhile for the huge investments it would take to expand the lines.

Color lenses are not a huge part of the market, and torics are even a smaller part....soooo, not worth it I guess.

The Freshlook Torics are far from being among the best torics out there either.

because they've only just started to advance regular contacts (colourless ones ) for people witrh astigmatism i didn't even know they made coloured ones yet.

Toric contacts, or contacts for astigmatism, cost more to make and cost more for the patient. Many companies feel that their profits on these lenses won't be as high as with the regular contacts so they choose not to make the effort.

because contacts for people with astigmatism arent supposed to be used to look trendy or cool, or hot. they only make special contacts for what theyre made for, in this case, for people who cant see very well..

I would guess that the differences in thickness make it more difficult to provide even color and the market is smaller for each correction.
