Why aren't there more female jockeys?

Now I realize that this question probably gets asked alot on here and there probably are we just don't here about them as much. But I mean look at Ruffian. Her exercise rider was female and yet her jockey Jacinto Vasquez was male. And look at Big Brown his exercise rider is female and his jockey is male. Seems like more of the exercise riders are female and the jockeys are male.

I agree with you. All jockeys are petite, male or female, but it might have something to do with how a woman's frame is "more fragile" than a males. Thats just a thought. I don't know for sure....

Does the other person that answered even make sense?

i think that wherever wise ,intelligent, smart guys needed there arises lack of female wisdom . world is progressed to very high, even though this short comings remaining .now we can think  about to ,how we can solve this problem  give the girls more outlook to wars the world where we live . theory are all spending too much time in front of TV watching not worthy soap operas  and silly films .they must have to stop this .if they are ready to understand the world they can become more useful persons .in my friends circle there a lady who appear smart and very talkative only in front of us.
