It's not like they are remotely similar, League is MUCH better!

  1. Quite simple...because only those of us who live in the North of England and a few people in London and Wales are interested in league. I lived in and around Leeds for 51 years and went to Headingly from 1967 to 2005 and all over the place to watch the Rhinos. I moved to Northern Scotland this year and as far as rugby league is concerned it is like living on another planet...no one knows about it or understands it. No pub shows superleague but there is a league index on teletext and you sometimes get a challenege cup game on the BBC however they are always chuntering on about Celtic and Rangers even when that is on. The sunday papers carry the odd bit of news about the tri nations but that is it. The folk who run yahoo probably don't know there are two types of rugby....union...and the real rugby....rugby league.

    Geoff in the frozen North.

  2. Probably coz yahoo is an Aamerican outfit and they think there is only one code of rugby. Stoopid yanks!

Incidently, if League is a better game then why do its top players swap to go play Union?

  3. I would have to agree with snapper.

In addition, I would recommend going into the Yahoo Answers Help and Suggestion Board and suggest this inclusion of two different categories for rugby.

Recently they changed the Motor Sports to Auto Sports and placed in categories for NASCAR, F1 and the like.  This was suggested on the Help and Suggestion Board.

    The board is here:

If enough people showed Yahoo that it is wanted or needed, then the split may occur.

IMHO, the split in the Football (Australian) category came about therough Yahoo Australia and New Zealand.  Therefore, you may have to get Yahoo UK to agree to the split.  You may have to email Yahoo UK.

  4. Egg chasing is for public schoolboys and those who are cr*p at football.

  5. Somebody asked this a few months ago.

Then it was said there is, and to be fair there is...............under fecking Australian football!

No good to us Brits is it?

  6. yeah it under football australia category. i agree league kicks ****, union kicks the ball away when they get it. friggin hard to score if youre kicking it away every time you get it.

  7. because yahoo is yank and so they only understand american football.
