  1. Trying to get more energy out of the electrolysis of water (by burning hydrogen) than you put in (by electrical current from the car's battery) is not possible.  Read the laws of thermodynamics for yourself.

The whole HHO thing is a spam-laden internet marketing scheme.

  2. Keeping in mind that I'm no expert... I believe one problem to be the excellerated carrosion of the muffler and exhaust pipes from the added water vapors. As far as mass production, that could be because of oil conglomerates making harder to get this product greenlighted for mass production. Personally, I'm not sure if HHO generators are a scam or not. I know the technology is real, but does it work as well as reported?

  3. No place to buy fuel. Not enough consumer demand, to make it profitable.

  4. The experiments with H-O-H fueled cars yielded a car that required more energy input then yielded. In order to get the H-O-H cars to run the fuel had to be superheated to 1800 degrees in order to produce a fuel that could be burned. This had to be done in a 20000 psi system and was not deemed safe for public roads.

The same is true for HHO, the required energy to convert the substance into a fuel required more fuel that produced.

Now a hydrogen powered car is a different story, it has the benefit of lowering CO2 emissions (COO) with the negative benefit of causing massive flooding.
