Question:

Why aren't we trusted?

Doesn't the government and regulating government entities trust us enough to get rid of any type of medicine prescriptions systems or selling of automatic weapon or plutonium at grocery stores?

Where is the trust?

Why do people have to tell people why they need it, can't they just trust? They have the money, what's the problem?

  1. this is a great question.  sometimes people forget we dont work for the government, the government works for us.  in the words of jesse ventura if we lie to the government we go to prison if the government lies to use we go to war.  looks like "we the people" are getting the wrong end of the bargain

  2. The people can't be trusted by the government precisely because the government fears the people...and what might happen if the people ever really organized to demand that the government meet their wants and needs. "Most" people want universal healthcare, less U.S. involvement around the world, more job security, cleaner environment, and even medical marijuana. Polls for the last few decades demonstrate this consistently over time. Nonetheless, the government isn't interested in what the American people want and doesn't intend on giving it to them. Thus, the sad truth is the U.S. government sees as its primary enemy: the American people.

  3. Because lots of people ABUSE.

  4. are you insane?  have you taken a look around?  there is a very good reason that the government steps in especially with prescription drugs, and automatic weapons.  Just read these boards awhile, that's proof enough we need help.
