Why aren't we using this water powered engine?

So you believe that you saw this on Youtube that it has to be real.  

If this is so, I have a bridge in Brooklyn and some choice property in central Florida for sale.

This is a scam, a parlor trick, nothing more.

If this were for real, don't you think that a major auto maker like GM would snatch this up in a heartbeat.  Especially with today's high fuel prices, don't you think they would be cranking these out as fast as they could make them.  They would make billions.  It would cure their slumping sales because everyone would want one.

I've seen that video before.  The editors cut a news reel with their own voice over and make it look like water powered cars are real.  The inventor is talking about separating H2O into 2H2 and O2 and then burning it again.  But that process of separating cost energy - the same amount of energy recovered during burning process.  

The conveniently internect HHO. BS!!

What the "inventor" has done is really OLD technology (I learned about it in school back in 1975).  It is a VALID technology.  But HYDROGEN technology is basically a energy CARRIER - not a energy SOURCE.

HHO - as touted online is all BS.

I get a chuckle 10 times a day, when somebody asks this question (no offense)

SCAM !!!!  I read extensively about it and the science is ALL WRONG.  I studied chemistry in school so I know.

Even if you don't understand the science behind it to know, ask yourself this one simple question: if these devices worked, why don't the car companies install them at the factory and sell more cars?

P.S. If you go to these HHO sites, they will tell you that the HHO become a catalyst for the reaction inside the engine. NONSENSE !  In chemistry Catalyst is does NOT react at all and just help other reaction.  Hydrogen and Oxygen in piston would be immediately consumed (and so by definition cannot be a catalyst).
