I find it fiction when there are TV programs flashing the name on the screen for everyone to say.

  1. I think you are quite right. But it's not just fiction, it's smart marketing. It's a great way to create a "buzz" and a feeling of suspense and anticipation among the superstitious and keep them coming back to watch more.

(In the course of writing this response, I said "Belial" three times out loud. Nothing. How disappointing.)

  2. You can say what ever you wish, we are free spirits after all.

  3. because you distract him from watching The Family Guy which really pisses him off.

  4. To very silly folks who believe in demons and other nonsense.Saying the name could, bring you to the attention of Belial or call Belial to appear. There are probably other equally nutty reasons but these two are as wacky as any.

  5. I think you are asking about saying demon names, am I right?  That is a demon name.  If you say a demon's proper name - and you say it properly - 3 times, it will catch it's attention and will make him come looking for you - it makes them angry because you can use their name to control them or take their power away in some spellcraft.

  6. Some believe that if you say the name out loud, u will empower it. Depending on your beliefs, knowing the true name of a demon gives you power over it if you are attempting to summon and control it. Just speaking the name is harmless. Belial is mentioned in the bible on several occasions

I don't know which is true, but I'm not sayin it!!

  7. *says belial out loud* hey it worked!
