Why arent any humming birds ?

What part of the country do you live in..some hummingbirds may have already started migrating.  Unless you live in an area where there are hummers year round (western coast of the US), they may be few and far between.  You may get some stragglers migrating through, throughout the fall/winter season, but as far as residents..they may be on their way to S. America by now.

I've got a whole famliy of hummers coming to my feeder. They've been at it now for more than a month. LIttle ruby throats. And I live in Central Alabama.

I still have hummingbirds I live in CA.  During the winter last year I think I had two that still hung around.  I agree with Bird Girl they may be starting to head for their winter quarters.
