Why arent hooded jackets allowed in some schools?

is it because some kid out there put weapons in the hood of his jacket? i've never heard of anyone doing this.

Its because authorities believe its gang related.  Same reason some schools ban baggy jeans, hats, and certain brands.  Its a few dummies who ruin it for the rest of us.

mostly because teachers cant see the students face, and it is easier to hide stuff in them, as well as some school will say that they are "gang related"
