Why arent the lions using...?

Why arent the lions using Geroy Simon as the weapon that he is? I think the fact that theyre usin him as decoy is only contributing to thier new winless streak. My question is....are theyre any other reasons that the Lions arent giving him the ball?

He may be injured....i remember a cupple years back they used Stegall in the same way here....and he had broken ribs....they should find out if anything is wrong.

QBs and receivers/backs have relationships and when a new qb joins the huddle he may have his favourite 'go to guy' so Simon may not be the second or third guy to look to right now when the primary isn't there.  You may be right.  The coach may have to force the qb to work with the guy to get him more involved and hopefully that will get the offense back on track.  Right now they are wasting a pretty good talent

They are not giving him the ball cuz your backup qbs suck as you probs already know....without Dickenson, your team is pretty bad, as most teams would be without their #1 QB.

Simon is a good receiver, he aint in Stegalls class, but hes pretty d**n good.  Not using Simon is stupid if there is no one else around him.....However BC not gonna win Grey cup this year anyway because they have never won back to back grey cups. and they have won only 5 total.

Well, if you go back to last season, you'll remember that BC had a lotta injuries in their receiving corps, which played a large part in Simon putting up the ridiculous numbers that he did.  That being said, Simon really should be seeing the ball more often than he has been thus far.  

Mind you, with Jarious Jackson at QB, none of the receivers were seeing the ball as often as they used to since BC has gone to more of a ground-based attack this year.  Joe Smith's increased production combined with injuries at the quarterback position are the reasons why BC has the lowest passing production of any team in the league, affecting the stats of all their receivers, and Simon in particular.
