Why arent these theories?

can u please give me the more complez explanation as u can of why the genesis, old testament and the big bang theory arent scientific laws??

*i already know but im so bad to join ideas.. so please i just want a complex explanation!!

becasue it is a law that has been theorised, but no concrete evidence just speculation, genesis is religious that will never be scientific

Among other things, a theory must be verifiable, falsifiable, and it must make predictions of future observations.  Genesis 1 and 2 contradict themselves for one thing.  Plus, the order of events described in both of them are nonsense.  

Don't forget that a theory is "higher" than a fact.  A theory attempts to gather know facts and provide an explanation then to make predictions about future observations (facts).  The statement "it's just a theory" makes my blood boil.  People who say that actually mean hunch, hypothesis, or wild *** guess.

It's difficult to say when a theory becomes a law.  Some of it is just the passage of time.  Of all the laws and theories in science, I'd say the the Second LAW of Thermodynamics and the THEORY of Evolution are the most solid of all.  Some day down the line we'll probably talk about the LAW of Evolution and the LAW of Relativity.  In both of these cases, new experiments might tweak the theories, but the underlying structure of evolution and relativity have not been falsified.

At one time, we had the Ptolemaic theory of the solar system - the earth was at the center of the system.  Once experiments verified that the sun was at the center, Ptolemy's theory was falsified.
