Why arent they comming off??

Ok so i had the 2 year treatment for my braces. my teeth moved rather fast. its been over 2 years now and they still arent taking them off! they told me around oct.07 that i would have them off early by the end of the year. didnt happen. my 2 year treatment was up in april08 and i would get them off then. DIDNT FREAKIN HAPPEN. now its practically august. im sick of them pushing the date back. all my other friends are getting theres off and its really annoying. CAn i just have my mom talk to them or something? Im sorry but its frustrating!!!!

yeah if you'll be okay that your bite won't be ideal. most of the time its cause your not wearing you rubber bands enough or your ortho is just milking your parents of money...

If your mom agrees with you that they need to come off already and they are not helping you at all having them there, I'm sure they would take it off if she tells them to. However, the orthodontist has an idea in mind of how he thinks your teeth should look and fit in your mouth. I would wait a while more. Don't rush it. Maybe he wants your bite to align better... have your mom call and see if you could all meet up and discuss what it is he is trying to accomplish before he takes them off, maybe after you understand his goals you will be more patient with removing them Good luck =)
