  2. Its hard to get them in shells - something poisinous about them I think. You should be able to get them ready shelled - they had them in Tescos last time I went there.

  4. In 2004 Brazil nuts were found to contain traces of a toxin that can cause liver cancer. The European Commision has since branded them a health risk and each batch imported into the EU must be tested for aflatoxins. The cost of destroying the contaminated stocks has vastly inflated the price of Brazil nuts and thus it is now often too costly for supermarkets to import them.

  5. Yeah I have'nt seen much in the way of Brazil's, more Walnuts than you can shake a stick at though which is good because much prefer Walnuts on my cereal. Xmas Ba Humbug
