Why arnt diamonds found in places like england?

Please help its for geography and i can tfind out anywhere elese!!! Quick answers please i promise to give a best answer

England just doesn't have the right cercumstances that South Africa and other diamond producers do.

Just as oil is not found in some spots, diamonds are not either.

Because there are no Kimberlite Pipes (deep, vertical, volcanic instrusions from the lower crust or mantle).

There may be kimberlite pipes, they just haven't been discovered.  There are certainly diamonds in England but it is unlikely that they are viably mined.  For example, if you dig down 50 miles, you may find diamonds.  At the surface, there may be unknown kimberlite pipes, glacial sediments from kimberlite pipes elsewhere, or diamonds from meteorites.

Probably for several reasons;

1- No visible Kimberlite Pipes are known to be there.

2- The government may have banned diamond mining in the British Isles for obvious reasons.

3- It is very possible that diamonds do exist in England but not in enough quantity to make it worthwhile to ruin the country with the vast mining activity necessary to find them.  

4- If there are people finding diamonds on England, they are keeping it very quiet.  

Diamnds are now found in many places formerly thought to not have them: Colorado, California, Wisconsin, Wyoming, etc. - places where volcanic activity has taken place at some time or where alluvial action has carried them to another location not noted for volcanic activity .

There is no proof that diamonds do not exist in the earth of the British Isles and many new discoveries are being made all over the globe as mankind learns more about them and their creation.  

Incidentally; you can make a diamond disappear by heating it in an oven that is used for tempering steel.
