  1. dump AVG & download free Avast or free Avira.

  2. Important: Some malware camouflage themselves as kernell32.dll, particularly if they are located in c:\windows or c:\windows\system32 folder. Thus check the kernell32.dll process on your pc whether it is pest.

  3. Use the following programs:

    Spybot - Search & Destroy

    Avira AntiVir Personal

    Spyware Doctor Starter Edition

    Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

Malwarebytes alone should be able to remove the infection with a full scan, the rest of the programs are to protect yourself in the future from other infections.

  4. If you are using avg 8.0 it is a glich in the avg software if using 4.8 click on the yellow tab when it appears and do what it says it might have a bug in it the kernell32

  5. Use the anti virus s/w

as the vista has in built anti virus s/w u cn also use it and update it online

as any anti virus s/w needs online updation for virus defination regularly
