Why backgammon don't run in winxp?

It may be just a temporary glitch that will get sorted out, but it is usually vista that causes the problems, not xp.  But there are a few things you can try.  Make sure you have installed Java on your computer, because you need that for the game to run.  You may also need to allow popups just when you want to play backgammon.  Something else to try is to log in to Yahoo Mail or Answers first.  Sometimes it seems to help if you are already logged in to Yahoo before you try to play a game.  Best of luck with getting it sorted out.
