Why being different is bad for other people?

"Different" challenges your underlying assumptions about the "proper" way to live your life.

If someone is living their life the same way you live yours, it validates your choices.

Conversely, if they aren't, it challenges the rightness of their choices.

A lot of people that have low self-esteem can't stand their choices being challenged, so they hate the challenger instead of evaluating their choices.

Because theyr jealous and shallow becuz there too weak to be the person that they knoe they can be without bein a dull follower of the sheep.

I know what you mean....Ppl pick on ya becuz u wanna dress diffrent, and u talk diffrently and do ya hair diffrently....but all i know is there jealous becuz im comfortable bein me all tha time and theyr justa bunch of big sour grapes =/

If you can answer that, you get an insight into humanity.

Sameness is comforting.  It harkens back to the time when one is a child amongst same folks.

Maturity is when one accepts that others are and always will be different.
