Ref is not to blame.

Ashton and the players are both to blame. You cannot give away possession and expect to win. Not many ways of getting points in rugby without the ball and it's time they realised it.

I thought we were moving away from that silly style of play that had dominated the last 3 1/2 years.

Looks as though the world cup was a fluke and we have dropped straight back in where we were before hand.

It was atrocious and an embarrassment. Stupid tactical kicking (or lack of tactical), stupid passes going to no-one, the list goes on and on.

The whole team has to take the heat on this one.

Blame the Welsh irrational hatred of the English for getting their backs up.

If they had been playing any other team in the world they'd have gone down to a cricket score with their tails between their legs.

Funny isnt it that for the welsh to play with any heart, they NEED the English.  Ha ha....they cant even win on their own without help from us.

I blame the players first and their 'coach' second.  

Our rugby players are growing more like our soccer players - poor skills, poor judgement and in a few cases, actually stupid.

Wales outplayed them for guts, determination and self belief.  Neither team was much kop; we were simply the worse of the two.

Blame Wales.............they came back, England let them back into the game and they played with pride, passion and belief!

I think their captain should take a lot of the blame. Under Martin Johnson, they would never have stopped playing with half an hour to go.
