  1. Then you lose your right to beyatch about the direction of the  country.

  2. Yes, it is probably a waste of time.  But it does make a lot of people feel like they're part of the system.  Why anyone would WANT to be part of this system is beyond me.

If the way it worked was one person, one vote then it would be a great idea to vote.  With the electoral college and voting machines that cannot be checked for accuracy, it seems quite pointless and even demeaning.

  3. If everybody thought like that no one would vote and any maniac could get into power. That's why we vote. United we stand, divided we fall, in all things

  4. I completely agree voting is a waste of time and i hate politics.♠

  5. I agree. I doubt that I will waste the gas. No matter who is the nominee, we are going to get a left wing liberal socialist Democrat.....and I'm including McCain in that same group.

  6. One day it could change something, and if enough people have a positive attitude, change can happen eventually.

  7. Understand the frustration.  But democracies don't run themselves.

  8. yeah it takes too much time

  9. Your vote may decide who becomes President, Governor, or  your Congressman or Senator!!!!

  10. Great idea! That's how the US ended up with Bush last time. Don't complain about the President elect because you simply can't be assed.

  11. If you don't know why. If you haven't studied the issues and the candidates. I hope you don't vote.

  12. Voting does make a huge difference. If more people had voted 8 years ago, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now.

Without a vote, you have no voice.

  13. Don't set around complaining about the system.  Get out there and help CHANGE it so YOUR vote will count.  There is a revolution going on right now to correct the things that have been hijacked in the system.  Join the revolution and help make this country free again.

Do you enjoy giving 1/2 your money to the feds?

Do you enjoy being spied on?

    Do you enjoy inflation?

Do you enjoy watching our jobs go overseas?

    Do you enjoy open borders?

Do you enjoy seeing political prisoners in this country?

YOU can help put things right again if you get involved.  One person does make a difference.  I was at our district convention this year and we lost a proposal by a single vote!  If one person would have been there to cast a vote for freedom it would have made a BIG difference.

One of the things we are working on in my state is to get rid of the voting machines that don't leave a paper trail.  If the machines are rigged to elect a chosen candidate, there's no way to prove it because there is NOTHING to look at for a recount.  That effectively eliminates a candidates legal right to demand a recount.

The only reason the "elite" do whatever they want is because they know trusting or disgusted people will set back and do nothing.  Doing nothing is giving them power.  Get involved in your local elections and carry the momentum right to the top!

We have changed our state.  A lot of states are being changed this year.  Make your state one of the good ones that  forces the voting system to work like it was suppose to.

We are not limited to choosing one of the top 3 candidates.  Delegates can put any candidate on the ballot.  McCain is NOT the republican nominee.  Hilary or Obama are not the only Dem choices like the media tells you they are.  Get educated about the system and help to fix it before it's too late.

  14. i totally agree im not voting

  15. With that attitude...you are right...nothing will change. America people will get the government they deserve

  16. Every vote counts.  If you don't vote, your desire for change won't be counted.  It may be a drop in the bucket, but it's your decision to determine if the hassle of voting is worth casting your vote.

  17. Main Stream Media has already chosen the candidates for us & each & every one is just as bad as the other.  McWar, Osama or Billary; it doesn't matter.

There is just so much dishonest, underhanded sh** going on that I don't believe the presidential election is worth bothering with.

I do recommend getting involved at the local level.  Get to know your candidates for Governor, Mayor, Senate, Congress.  It can make a difference.

  18. think of your vote as an opportunity not to vote some one or something in but to vote it out.you do not have to see it as a positive !

  19. I Semi agree with you.

The whole primary system is a Joke the people in states that have their primary first decide who we get to vote.

Plus the 2 party system is a joke, A candidate can't  say what they believe they have to the party Platform

Miss America has 50 choices why do we only get to chose from 2 for President.

My vote has never counted because of the electoral college.

    The system is broken .

    We need to revolt

Vote for the green party or any other fringe party send the creeps a message.

  20. Your attitude is why nothing changes. A 90 percent turn out would make politicians think.

  21. I know...so does starring but here you go!  It is dumb though

You are talking about yahoo answers, right?
