Why boys are not protected from child sexual abuse?

In our society only little girls are protected from child abuse while it is assumed that child sexual abuse dont happen to boys which is untrue.In fact I was abused as a childand I think boy abusers are more dangerous than girl abusers in the following ways:-

1.It is easier to get close with a boy than a girl because girls are naturally a bit shy towards boys and men.Also parents are protective of girls and not boys.

2.Boy abusers create more abusers in the soceity because the boys they abuse went on to become child abusers themselves.Thus creating a cycle of child abuse.

No, he's implying that he WAS abused. It's respectable to read the whole post before commenting/replying.

I think it's just that common, acquired "understanding" that girls are precious and boys are tough and should be able to take care of themselves. That's how most people are and that's the general gender rule most people follow. If you want to make a change, raise your children with discretion and don't follow the same old-fashioned standards for gender. Break the gender boundaries and cherish both your children for whatever and whoever they become. Don't try to man up your son, show him you love him just as much as you love your daughter. Make a change!

Well the problem is our society is blind to the Male problems, any aid or help the society and the Govt diverts only to the Female Gender scared off the Fanatic Feminist Terrorist Cells. Reservations in the Govt, Work, School, Buses, Trains, Adverts for Adoption, Domestic Violence, Rape, anything most of all Laws are all for the Women and yet they claim its a Man's World!!

And by your name and theory....I'd say you are a child abuse who attacks boys? Boys are protected. If it is found out that a boy is being abused, the abuser faces the same penalty you dumb ***.

I think both boys & girls should be protected from child s*x abuse. Both are equally vulnerable & after effects are equally traumatising.

The best is to train your kids against it & also never let them out of sight. One responsible person, preferably female should always be there to keep watch.
