  1. they can stand only there for sime time. as son as a bus stops at the bus stop, it stands till move.

  2. Buses cannot sit. So obviously considering the demand of passengers

and the noms of the regulating authority they have to keep in mind

the convinience of the customers. Hope it's fine and clear henceforward.

  3. For people to get in to travel and to come out at standard places for ease of people

  4. bus cant sit

  5. Because they can't sit! If they sit there will be a terrific traffic jam!

    AJM

  6. because we make bus stops, for the buses. and because the bus stops is the place for all buses and wait passenger.

  7. For the sake of Public conveniance.

That will help the people for systematc boarding n also to get down

    comfortably.

  8. It is done to keep on schedule. At times traffic is light thus causing the buses to move through the route quicker and when that happens, we'd end up missing our bus and would be late to where we are going.

Can't the bus just drive slower you say? Sure but that would not be a good idea as running the bus engine at low speed causes twice the wear on the engine internal parts compared to driving at regular speeds. The buses would break down more and would be out of service which would suck fir us all and then bus company would have to raise fares later on to make up for it.

    Hope that helps,

    Steve

  9. r u ok??

  10. obviously when it is named as a bus stand, the bus should go and stand in its stand right

  11. the word bus stops it itself says confidently that bus will stop so that bus stops...!

  12. I think all the people above me told u the answer but to tell u something weird here in Egypt we dont have bus stops it just slows downs for 2 seconds at several points either u catch it or not :)

  13. because they ARE buses

  14. Because they're on a "time" schedule.  If you know a bus is scheduled at a certain "stop" at a certain "time", they have to meet that schedule.  If they're running "ahead of schedule" they have to remain at a bus stop until they know it's time to meet their next stop !  Generally that can happen (they're ahead of schedule) if there are NO PASSENGERS TO PICK-UP at bus stops along the way !

  15. pick people in the buses stop

  16. Becuse some pretty gals always stands there... & all bus drivers are intrested to see them.

  17. because the cab stops are full of cabs
