For what?   Was FDR punished for tossing American Citizens in detention camps or having innocent American citizens illegally interrogated or for executing  German PoWs?  Was LBJ impeached for starting an outright lie of a WAR called Vietnam that cost over 50000 US DEAD?   How about JFK for the Bay of Pigs Fiasco  that killed hundreds of CIA trained Cuban nationals ?    Why were they not "punished" or impeached are they special or something since they are all DEmocrats? So that makes them different?  Gawd i cant stand the utter hypocricy of liberals!

For what?  He didn't lie.  He was misinformed.  We weren't the only country that suspected Saddam to have WMD's. I'm pretty sure Russia came down and took them anyways.    Besides,  In the beginning, Many(including democrats) supported the war, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton.  I'm not saying he is the best president ever, but he hasn't done anything worth being punished over.

Because Americans cared more about being bombed themselves than they do about waging an illegal war in someone else's country. Also, because America would never give up their president to be tried for war crimes and they have more nukes than anyone else.

Oh, and Keith, no one would have done the same as Bush with the "same intelligence." I don't know anyone with such low intelligence!

this war is nae about Saddam or Bush's made up enemy Bin Laden  , this war was then and is now about the world Oil shortage. its about America trying to control the dwindeling supplies of oil. thats what the first gulf war was about and that is what this one is about.

America wull glady kill a 100,000 or a million Iraqis to save 5 cents on a gallon of fuel. American government is now feeling its power, prestige and respect slipping away. like the UK already has done, hit bottom!     the ussa is on its way down the same path as it declines around the world. i no longer have respect or admiration for the USA i once proudly wore the uniform and served in the American army around the world. i think it Should be called the USSA under bush.  i hope Obama gets in and fix's a once great nation, and soon because china is coming on fast, as it stands in American  now you would nae notice a difference

I've wondered that for a long time.  It seems like it should have been done already.  He lied about the war, he's pretty much taken a chunck of the Government's money..etc, etc, etc.

If he should be punished, how is everyone in our congress not being punished for voting for and backing the initial war in Iraq?  As I recall, Hillary voted for us to go after Iraq.  Our problem is everyone wants what they want, and doesn't care about anyone else.  This country has gone down hill fast since WWII, when the nation was most united and achieved great things!

if they punish him then we might end up with cheney as president. that is the last thing the world really needs. bush is bad but cheney is worse.

that is why i am really holding out for the election because i want the next vice president to be a good choice. not another loser like gore or cheney... i am voting for the best of the worst for president as long as they have a good vice president. if not then it is going to be paul.

I am astounded at the lack of knowledge about the Bush family, politics, the war...the world.

Doesn't anyone do any research?  Why are there so many sheeple?

Bush did exactly what Hitler did.  They both bombed a major building to get the public upset so that they could go to war and have their support.  Hitler had a government building like the whitehouse bombed, and Bush had the twin towers destroyed.  They created a problem, got you excited, and then proposed a solution.  Let's go kill THEM...THEY did it!!! And so the country goes to war.

BUT....war is BUSINESS.  Nothing more, nothing less.  The Bush family makes money from the sale of weapons and oil.  Grampa Bush funded Hitler.  So did many other "respectable" people.  Because it was good for business.

Over in Iraq there are many private businesses making a fortune over rebuilding Iraq...while at the other end there is another fortune being made in demolishing Iraq.

There is a huge embassy being made in Iraq nearly the size of the Vatican.  The presence of the US in Iraq was not something which just happened overnight.  It has been in the making for a long time.

There are many alternatives to using oil which the government is well aware of....and even better than using electric cars, for instance.  Cheaper.  Easier.  But they want to squeeze every last dime out of the fight for the last cookie.  Think of the Iraq people...the innocent who have died.

Bush has NEVER given a direct and honest answer as to why America must send their best and brightest to be killed.  Bush does not care about any of them.

He's had over 400 concentration camps built in the US.  Who do you think those are for?  YOU.

The Rockefellers, the Rothschilds, the Morgans etc. are all part of the group who prefer to be called The Illuminati.  Type that into your search engine.  They have the money and they rule.  They also rule the banking.  Americans have been paying income tax to a bank which is privately owned!  They didn't have to pay it!

There is no such thing as the voting system.  It's all a crock.  We are all being manipulated and controlled and we had better not complain when it all comes due because then it will be too late.  Already the government has thrown out of windows or shot or poisoned those who worked for them and blew the whistle.  Their documentaries are available on the internet.  

For God's sake do some research!  The media is controlled by the government so dont' look there.  The internet is the last hope.  Wake the h**l up!
