Why business mans are less in india ?so many knowledful persons are getting dumb in a field without any aim?

It may be because the Indian culture and tradition.  India is known for its value system rather than for its  materialistic approaches. However the global effect will or has tilted the balance in favour of materialistic benefits encouraging it to   do business only on business lines.The scenario is changing

It also depends on the ''aim of life'' of the individual.

In todays India, there is no place for small and medium scale businessmen. With huge companies like Reliance looking to enter each and every possible business be it telecom,almost all retails such as supermarkets, low cost stores, clothing, jewellery(coming soon), IT, supplying of raw material(for those who are not aware Mukesh Ambani's Reliance is one of the major suppliers of raw material to many industries), Energy, Petreoleum, the list goes on and on and on. These are powerful people, they use their high political connections to get all kinds of benifits, they get free land from the govt. for their projects, tax sops, tax holidays, and they expand their business empire by twising and bending the existing rules and all govt. agencies and depts. turn a blind eye to all their misdoings. Naturally it is impossible for any small or medium scale trader who would have limited capital and resources to compete against these big bullies as they(small businessmen) are

1. Not going to get any free premises to conduct their businesses, and will pay thru the roof for real estate(which again is in the hands of big players today)

2. Not going to get any tax benifits, tax holidays, but are going to get a lot of unneseccary harrasement from all kinds of taxation departments the income tax, sales tax. octroi, exciese, municipal taxes, lisence authorities, weights and mesure dept, industrial safety, labour unions, labour and wages officials, the list goes on and on, you would not believe.

3. With all these big bullies getting such benifits from the govt., there is no possible way that any single small-medium scale businessmen can compete price wise with them.

That is why my friend to avoid making huge losses in business, to skip horrendous harrasement for govt. authorities, and getting nothing after all the hard work, perseverence, the talented youth of India prefer to go in for jobs, which at least give them some financial security without the hassels and risks of running a business.
