  1. Transnational Corporations (TNCs) are after the cheap, yet, quality labor that they could extract from the so- called "third world" or "developing" countries. Asian call center agents received only 1/4- 1/3 of the wage of their Western counterparts. So, even if TNCs invest in constructing physical structures, in the long run, they will still be able to save a lot of money. Asian professionals, because of the need to financially support their families, would prefer to work in call centers that will give them higher salaries than to practice their undergraduate degrees/ profession. I think, the quality of service that Asian call center offers is good/ high because they are really taking their work seriously. Probably, because it is their main source of income, and Asian culture cultivates utmost courtesy, diligence, and patience. Unlike, in some Western countries wherein call center servicing is just a parttime career.
