Canada is a Commonwealth of Nations country, it's not a republic like the USA and Queen Elizabeth the second is monarch and head of their sovereign. Canada is governed by a Prime Minister elected by the people and a Governor General chosen by the Queen, not by a elected President

Wow. well... lets say they wanted to be annexed into the United States. Why would they in the first place? Their policy is so very different from ours currently. Their military policies are different from ours. Pretty much everything up there is different. Things would have to change around here... I know I wouldn't invite anyone to stay at my house if it was all dirty and such.

USA does not need that much more welfare.

It's easy to provide everything for your people when you do not protect them.  The majority of their protection is American defense funds.

Canada is still a British soverign State...we dropped that commonality in 1776.

Point being- Canada would certainly join Great Britain before it ever considered the U.S.
