Canada has petrol in the west (Alberta). Why can't it use that and possibly lower the price, or at least prevent them from raising too high?

  1. They're smart. They're saving it for when they use up everyone else's resources. Imagine what the value of their Petrol will be.

  2. Canada is the second largest importer of oil to America. The "problem" is the rise of China.

  3. Why can't we do the same in the U.S.?

  4. Who is going to give it to the bovernment to do that. It belongs to oil companies that drill and produce it. If they don't get a return on their money they don't drill anymore. In Alberta we get a rebate on natural gas when it goes over a certain price in the winter.

  5. That is one question that has been asked by so many Canadians. Why are we giving our oil to the states? I would think it has to do with the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement); that some Prime Minister came up with years ago that screwed the nation by that dumb agreement. It would make so much sense if Alberta would give the oil to the rest of Canada then to drive it down south for the U.S. I don't see that changing in the near future unless some politicians make an electoral issue. All 3 parties in Canada are a bunch of idoits to begin with.
