  1. They don't believe in that. Goverment should take care of everything according to them.

  2. We accept responsibility, we just don't accept attacks when the other side isn't willing to. Nice bias in your question, though, really makes me sure that you'll respond to the answers with an open mind.

  3. How much of a burden do you think Sarah Palin kids will be on the system? Government funding affects us all in one form or fashion.

  4. Responsibility? Like taking care of 9/11 rescue workers? Wasn't that a republican job?

    Look how good you did.

    Responsibility. Right.

  5. because they think  the government should provide for all

  6. Because their Liberals...

  7. She has transcended the status quo political scene at light-speed showing us her razor wit, her biting sarcasm and endearing sincerity. She has shown courage and strength, by putting the needs of the citizens of Alaska both Republican and Democrats ahead of greed, fraud and refusing to sell out to special interests and corrupt politicians.   Sarah Palin last night showed us a new model of not just a female politician,  but a real life example of what the founding father idealized for leaders in the service of it’s citizens. I see her as the nightmare of every politician who from this day forward would put their personal interest or special interest ahead of the interest of all the citizens they were hired to SERVE.  Her family stories were genuine and real. Her commitment to special-needs children was moving. Her contempt for special interests was obvious and long overdue. She is unlike any and every politician I have ever known in my lifetime and I can’t wait to cast me vote for John McCain because I see them as a bright future for America.

  8. Because it's so much easier to have someone else do everything for you. Sort of like never growing up and leaving home. Mom still makes the bed for you, does the laundry and makes you dinner.

So if you can get Uncle Sam to do everything for you during your adult life that just seems like utopia. What they conveniently forget is that somebody has to pay for all of it.

    McCain/Palin '08

  9. Democrats have no problem with personal responsibility. What they have a problem with is anarchists who claim to be libertarians misusing the phrase.

As a libertarian, I loathe the Republicans and conservatives who trumpet "personal responsibility" as an excuse to be totally selfish pricks.

Our Founding Fathers, the people who gave us liberty and personal responsibility did so because they expected us to take care of each other without gov't doing it for us.

So as a libertarian, I'll make you a deal and tell you how to get rid of the Democrats: quit being selfish, take care of other people on your own and make socialism obsolete. Until then, you give them all the ammo they need, because every time YOU have a chance to be responsible for your fellow man, you FAIL to exercise it by only caring about yourself.

It's a society. We're all in it together.

EDIT: gmseven11, you don't spell "Ron Paul" as "Palin". Thanks.

  10. Who says they can't. We are the ones being responsible.

  11. GO TO MY YAHOO 360 BLOG AND YOU'LL SEE THE EVIL DEMOCRATS STAND FOR!!!

  12. IT REQUIRES ACCOUNTABILITY....THEY CANNOT HANDLE IT!

  13. Obama spoke several times about personal responsibility in his nomination speech.

  14. Democrats actually require personal responsibility.  Unlike the Republicans, who expect people to take orders from whichever authority figure happens to be around.

  15. Well, the repubs are such good role models, like George Bush Junior going AWOL because he couldn't even hack a cushy sinecure in a champagne unit of the National Guard, or Cheney saying he had "other priorities" than fighting in Vietnam. Then of course Junior became the only oilman ever who couldn't find oil in Texas, and had to be bailed out by Osama bin Laden's brother. There's personal responsibility for you.

  16. Because liberals are irresponsible.
