Why can't I add a note to a new invitation?

I am trying to add a note to an invitation to a group I created in March; the original group of invitations let me add a 'welcome and explanation' note, but the individual invitations I sent later just go out without any explanation. HELP!

I just checked the Invite feature on the Group I've moderated for years, and you're right - for some reason, Yahoo took away the ability to add a note/explanation.  You might want to send a note to Yahoo Groups Customer Care asking them why they took away the ability to add a note/explanation to an invite; if so, do this by filling out the form at http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/groups/... .
