Why can't I do add ons for Thunderbird 2.0?

When I go to the download page it says its not compatible with mozilla 3.0. But I don't understand, because I am downloading for thunderbird not firefox.

Sometimes its just the download, whoever posted it posted a bad version.

Since the recent firefox update allot of user posted themes and such have been out of date and do not work.

Find something fitting to your version?

Mozilla has a few bugs to work out on thunderbird, I get a fair amount of problems with it as well. Overall though, its free and it does what is needed.
