Question:

Why can't I do pushups?

I can do handstands,dips and other stuff like that,I can do 300 sit ups(don't know about crunches) and squats too,but when I try to do pushups my triceps give out at around 10 :( .Whats wrong with me?

  1. Strength building takes time keep doing ten and push yourself to eleven and so on and so forth


  2. there is nothing wrong with you it just means that your muscles used to do the push up are weak and you need to just work on them, so do as many push ups as you can everyday and eventually you will get stronger muscles and can do more

  3. Your chest and tricep muscles are very weak. Thats your only problem. Only way to get them stronger is to do more push ups or start weight lifting.

  4. You are probably very young.

    Just keep working on it every other day.  

  5. Nothing's wrong with you. Just keep doing your ten. Rest a bit. Then do a few more. Repeat. In a few weeks you'll be right up there.

  6. i agree with ivan..

    keep doing 10.. then after a couple of days add 2 more.. and so on
