Why can't I download Yahoo Unlimited music to my MP3 Player?

When I signed up for two years with Yahoo Unlimited a few months ago I was able to transfer music to my portable MP3 player. But now when I try to do that now I get prompted to upgrade to Yahoo Unlimited To Go! When did this change, and is it legal to now charge for services that were free under the original agreement?

  1. I have been a subscriber for over 2 years and it has NEVER been free.  Perhaps when you signed up you got like 30 days free or something before you have to start paying.

There's no way this service could be free as then there would be no royalties to give to the artists.

  2. look elsewhere ..others do not charge for using a portable device... once you have paid for your music on other proggies it is yours.  there is no way you should be charged extra to transfer music  to a portable device, for  your own use, that you have already paid for.
