Why can't I download...?

Question

Windows Live Messenger onto my Macbook? I click install, it downloads and then nothing else. What do I do?

I'm pretty sure its because Macs don't use windows, you might be able to find a program that makes it compatible

Regular Windows Live Messenger is not for Macs. System requirements here:

But this one is, and it is from Microsoft's website. I thing it is the Windows Live Messenger for Macs:

Hmm, I don't have a Mac, but I would say that Windows Live Messenger is designed for Windows.  Try finding one that is compatible with a Mac.  Here's one for you :)  Good luck!
