Why can't I fall in love?

My first "love" was my senior year of high school up until my sophomore year of college. I am now a senior in college and have dated ten guys or so since him. We don't talk. He still pops up in my dreams. He has a new girlfriend. But I was the one that broke up with him. Why am I still comparing guys to him? I just want to move on. Any suggestions?
