Why can't I find any parrotlet breeders in Maryland?

I have scouted the internet for pacific parrotlets and there seems to be hardly any at all. I would not mind it being shipped from somewhere else but that costs a lot..so I'm not willing to do that. Is there a special website I haven't found yet?? Thanks and God bless!
