I have found mine, my son's dad and daughter! Surely it should be there! I am trying to put together my family tree, but there is no record of my son ever being born! Any advice please.

  1. I had the same problem on ancestry.

Not all sites have the same information and not all of it is accurate and it is best to confirm all details from other sources.

If you want to get a new UK certifcate apply from the registry office where you went or apply direct to Southport.

  2. I will be quite happy to find the information for you, I have membership with www.ancestry.co.uk and assuming he wasn't born after 31st December 2005 then he will almost certainly be recorded on their index. You can email me through my yahoo profile as it is considered unethical to post information re: living people.

  3. Do you mean on the actual birth records or in a user submitted tree?

The trees will only have the information that the submitter knows or can be bothered typing in.
