Why can't I get any search results on LimeWire Basic?

I just downloaded LimeWire Basic and I went to type in something in the search box. I tried Fall Out Boy, Blink 182, and other different bands but absolutly nothing came up. Am I doing something wrong? Why won't it work?

check internet first, this has happened to me be4 i just shut down limewire and started it another DAY.  if that doesnt work i would go as far as reinstalling limewire.

theres nothing wrong i had the same problem with my limewire all you have ti do is update it the easist way to do this is just to go to the limewire website and download it again.

P.S. you wont lose any information

you might not be connected internet. check that your firewall and/or antivirus program is not blocking the limewire application

make sure that limewire is connecting to the internet on the bottom left corner is should show your connection if its not then you might have to disable your firewall or something.

do you know lime wire just jacks others peoples stuff for u to get it so ur stuff gets jacked as well

Sometimes it dosen't work because it dosen't have the song or you  aren't waitng long enough

you check that it is connected? i have the same problem until i hit connect then the bars in the bottomleft go green

Why not buy the music or get entire used CD's at a fraction of the cost used on Amazon.com? That downloading stuff can lead to computer problems and viruses.
