Why can't I get my free trial music onto my ipod???

I signed up for a free trial with eMusic...I downloaded some songs onto a CD, and then tried to put them on my ipod from there, but strangely enough, only 4 songs have gone into the playlist...I try to move the other imported songs over into the playlist, and they just won't show up there...what's going on?

Try installing the CD onto your computer (ripping the CD to your hard drive) and then transfer the songs from the computer. Ipod/Itunes is a little specific about how things go about.
