Why can't I log into my AOL email account??

Question

I have been trying to log in all day and it won't let me and I know I have my password and screen name right. I have had this account for 2 years now. I tired to log into another account and it let me. I can log into my aol instant messenger but now my mail. I tried to change my password but it say I need to put in my alternate email and I don't remember what alternate email was so I can't change my password. Any suggestions?? Thanks!!
