Why can't I make cookies?

I'm 22 years old. I live at home right now while I finish up school. I REALLY want tollhouse cookies break and bake style, but my dad is upstairs watching TV.

I get scared to make cookies in front of him for some reason, I really need them though. They are filled with chocolate and peanut butter chunks. I love when they cook down a bit but the chocolate is still melty and UGH.....soo tasty. They make me get a little heart burn but its okay. Maybe I'll just make them when he is at work tomorrow.

my dads like that too, but im like whatever youre not eating them so youre not gonna be getting fat

Does your dad think only sissies or g**s bake?  Get your mom to make them or just bite the bullet and make them.  I'm sure he enjoys eating them.

lmaooo. sorry but thats really funny. well your not even bakingggg your just taking the pre made stuff putting them on a cookie sheet and throwing them in the oven..no biggie srsly lol. its not like your doing it for the joy of baking..you just want cookies. if you want just  be like....dad i want cookies really bad do we have any chips ahoy. and h**l be like nah we got that tollhouse cookie dough though. and then you can be all fiiiiiiiine i guess thatll dooooo.

I say suck it up and make the cookies!  Your dad may question your sexuality, but at least you'll have delicious cookies to ease the pain :)
