How come when I go to websites and click on a document or something like that to open up and read....it gives me an error message?

It happens ALL the time and makes my computer useless. I recently had some computer work done. Do you think my computer guy changed something or did something where it accidentally did that to my computer?

When I go to the LA Board of Nursing and try to click on the first page where it is talking about Hurricane Gustav coming and affecting hospitals and how RN's can come work.....

it shows up blank with a little hazard sign on the bottom left of the screen. When I click on it, it says "Problems with this webpage might prevent it from being displayed properly or functioning properly. Error-object expected"

What does this mean? I went to several different websites and it says the same thing. I CANT READ ANYTHING!!!!!! It must me something wrong with my computer. What is wrong? How can I fix it? I really really need to find out info about going to Louisiana to help with the hurricane. PLEASE help me! Thanks!

  1. What pdf reader do you use?

What browser are you trying to use?

Can you right click and "save target/link as" and download it and then view it from your desktop?
