Why can't I post on Craigslist?

Question

Hi, I'm trying to place an ad on Craigslist but everytime I post an ad, it never shows up. I get an eamil saying my ad will be up in 15 minutes, so I check in 15 minutes and nothing! Anybody have any suggestions?

Next time you post an ad, after you publish it right click on the ad and check the Page Source or Code.  Look for "craigslist images hosted" -- if you dont see this, it was ghosted.  Try removing any links, wait to list again, and DONT edit right after you list...These are all things that flag your listing and remove it.

A couple of people have asked this same question so maybe there are a few glitches in Craigslist. Make sure you open the email confirmation and click the button to submit the article.

Also make sure that each articles is unique, if you put up two articles that are very similar even in different cities they will not be accepted.

You may also be listing a post that is controversial or against craigslist guidelines and it will just be deleted without warning.

You are getting ghosted.  There are so many reasons as to why this could be happening.  Anywhere from posting too much, posting certain types of ads in wrong areas that contain spam filtered text/font etc or just trying to use the wrong IP to post on the wrong country site of Craigslist.

i advertise alot on Craigslist. Usually I get an email with the link once its available for viewing. Have you created an account? If you have you can check on the status of your ads. If you haven't madeone, I suggest you give it a whirl.
